Numbers show up when I did not say show numbers

Hi guys,

I have a very frustrating problem that I hope you can help me with.

Very often when I have not invoked the show numbers command or even said anything that could possibly sound anything remotely like show numbers, the numbers appear (this is in Google Chrome). Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? Does anyone else have the same issue?

Some examples of phrases that I recently said that made the numbers show up:

“Hi Fred” (hi Fred appeared on my screen, and then show numbers also turned on for no reason)
“Introducing the Wine Spies” (same)

Thank you!!!

Sarah,

What version of VoiceComputer are you using? You can determine that by saying “show VoiceComputer version”.

Also, when that happens what shows up in “view recognition history” for Dragon. My suspicion is that this is simply a misrecognition problem with Dragon that ends up triggering the Google Chrome “Show Numbers”.

Chuck, that’s an impossible standard!

The text appears on the screen AND you get show numbers?

Next time this happens, please check your recognition history.

It must be some type of recognition problem. Train “Show Numbers”.

BTW, we’ll be releasing a new version within a day or so…
