Introducing VoiceComputer 2018

<p =“msonormal”=""><span style=“font-family: “Segoe UI”, sans-serif;”>Introducing VoiceComputer 2018 for Dragon

<p =“msonormal”=""><span style=“font-family: “Segoe UI”, sans-serif; font-size: medium;”>VoiceComputer features Intags, the world’s only global speech interface.<p =“msonormal”=""><span style=“font-family: “Segoe UI”, sans-serif; font-size: medium;”>VoiceComputer 2018 is yet another evolutionary step in the development of the Intag speech interface.<p =“msonormal”="">Intags lets you access every menu, every control – any screen location you wish to access - by simply saying numbers. Intags lets you enjoy a delightful new world of accessible, non-repetitive and touch-optional computer control.<p =“msonormal”=""> <p =“msonormal”="">Our Intag speech interface features five break-through technologies:<p =“msonormal”=""> <p =“msonormal”="">1. A ‘built-in’ Intag speech interface<p =“msonormal”="">Intags automatically superimposes numbers on Windows controls and your application’s menus and controls. Whenever you access a link, menu or control (by voice or by mouse), open or close a program, switch between applications, Intag continues to number the controls, enabling you to quickly drill through web pages, applications, and your work.<p =“msonormal”="">
<p =“msonormal”="">2. Overlays / templates for unprecedented accessibility<p =“msonormal”="">VoiceComputer’s overlays let you make any window and most inaccessible applications easily accessible by voice. Our unique overlays let you create clickable points (with no scripting!) so that you can easily access and control any object, menu, or feature in a program or on a webpage - regardless of whether they were previously accessible by voice. Overlays let you create templates to fill in forms and access previously inaccessible databases and applications.<p =“msonormal”=""><span style=“font-family: “Segoe UI”, sans-serif; font-size: medium;”>New Feature: VoiceComputer now lets you name your overlays and make Window specific or application specific overlays<p =“msonormal”="">Here’s a demo of how one of our users enjoys hands-free computing with Overlays: Rob’s video<p =“msonormal”="">
<p =“msonormal”="">3. Fast control of your Windows desktop with Intag<p =“msonormal”="">Now Intag continuously numbers the applications and controls on your Windows taskbar / system tray. <p =“msonormal”="">Now you can take complete control of your desktop with ease and simplicity. Wish to switch to an open application? Just say, ‘Task 5’, where 5 is the task you wish to switch to. Wish to switch to an application and position it on the desktop? Just say, ‘Task 4 left’ or ‘Task 9 monitor two’. Intag also lets you create (scripting) commands that let you position your applications at any position on any screen.<p =“msonormal”="">
<p =“msonormal”="">4. The Intag Chrome extension<p =“msonormal”="">VoiceComputer’s Chrome extension makes Chrome accessible by voice. Intags works with all browsers, but we specifically created our Chrome extension to break the barriers of inaccessibility on the web. With customization, we can make previously inaccessible websites, Intranet sites, and web apps accessible. Currently, we need to do the custom programming, but we plan to simplify this so that end-users can also make sites accessible. View demo of how easy Intags makes it to control a previously inaccessible Intranet site.<p =“msonormal”="">
<p =“msonormal”="">5. Intag breaks the final barrier of inaccessibility<p =“msonormal”="">There are some applications, with hundreds and even thousands of screens, that are so complex and inaccessible, that no one had ever been able to make them accessible, until VoiceComputer. JMP, a statistical program, is one example of what VoiceComputer can do. View demo!<p =“msonormal”="">
<p =“msonormal”="">6. The future<p =“msonormal”="">Our Intag technology has evolved over the last 5 years. We’re now working on designs that will mix and match our technologies. With your continued support, we’ll let you combine features of our Intags and Overlays to give you increased accessibility. You’d also be able to create absolute positioned Intags and relative positioned Intags and these could be used as templates in various applications. We’re working on another improvement that will let you Intag and control multiple applications simultaneously.<p =“msonormal”="">
<p =“msonormal”="">VoiceComputer is an all-in-one speech application.<p =“msonormal”="">To learn more about its features, please visit us on the web at: voicecomputer.com<p =“msonormal”="">

Computing is so much more with VoiceComputer!

Agreed, definitely the best addition to Dragon ever! Tongue

You don’t say much here about what the difference between Voice Computer 2018 and 2017 are. What’s the best thing to look at to find that information?

The main differences are:

<p =“msonormal”="" style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><span style=“font-family: “Segoe UI”, sans-serif; font-size: medium;”>New Feature: VoiceComputer now lets you name your overlays and make Window specific or application specific overlays. (This was planned for VC 2017 but I introduced in the last release of VC 2017.)<p =“msonormal”="" style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><span style=“font-family: “Segoe UI”, sans-serif; font-size: large;”>Fast control of your Windows desktop with Intag<p =“msonormal”="" style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">Now Intag continuously numbers the applications and controls on your Windows taskbar/system tray. <p =“msonormal”="" style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">This lets you enjoy easy, simple and complete control of your desktop. Wish to switch to an open application? Just say, ‘Task 5’, where 5 is the task you wish to switch to. Wish to switch to an application and position it on the desktop? Just say, ‘Task 4 left’ or ‘Task 9 monitor two’. Intag also lets you create (scripting) commands that let you position your applications at any position on any screen.<p =“msonormal”="" style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">Also, the VC Microphone has been improved and is a great tool if you need hands-free computing.<p =“msonormal”="" style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">

I Agreed, definitely the best addition

Yes, this is a fantastic program!

But, I am still having to deploy Dragon’s worst tongue twister, “click type text”.

The problem is that Intags are not routinely applied to text boxes, e.g. in Outlook 365.

I have created a command to restart Google Chrome and Intags since the plug-in sometimes stops working. I think this occurs mainly when Voicecomputer is launched after Google Chrome is already running.

Anyway, for me, it’s a brilliant start since I could make no progress with Click by Voice.
