Does VoicePower have any specific sections/provisions that deal with recordings/transcriptions from a digital recorder or is that something that is just DNS 11 specific?
VoicePower does not attempt to duplicate features of Dragon NaturallySpeaking that are best handled by DNS. So, the basic answer to your question is NO. This is a uniquely DNS feature and DNS handles it more effectively than anything that we could do in or with VoicePower. In other words, it would be a waste of time to create such a feature that wouldn't necessarily improve upon what DNS 11 already does most effectively anyway. In short, there's no point in reinventing the wheel, particularly since the current wheel is as good as it gets.Chucker2010-09-17 09:24:06
Thanks for your speedy reply. In future editions of VoicePower, would having a "how to" section on using digital recorders make sense? You certainly have every other conceivable base covered already. You may already have something specific in VoicePower and I just missed it...
We'll take it under consideration. Nevertheless, good idea. However, since there aren't that many people who use a DVR, it might make more sense to include that in a document and then just include a VoicePower command that opens that document.
Give us time to think about it.
