Antivirus software false positives

When I installed 11.7.1, my antivirus software (webroot) immediately quarantined c:program files (x86)voiceteach ultimatescriptsnircmd.exe. The same thing happened earlier with 11.69 and a different antivirus software.

Can I assume these are false positives from the antivirus programs? Just out of curiosity, what does nircmd.exe do?

nircmd.exe is a utility that VP uses to change the volume and mute the speakers.

Been using it for years with no problems.

Do a Google search on "nircmd.exe" and see what others are saying.
